Job Purpose:

The Accountant COOP Trainee will support the Finance Department in performing daily accounting and financial tasks. This role is designed to provide practical experience and exposure to core accounting practices, financial reporting, and compliance requirements, in line with the trainee’s university COOP program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in recording financial transactions in the accounting system.

• Support the preparation of invoices, expense reports, and payment processing.

• Help in reconciling bank statements and other accounts.

• Assist in preparing financial reports and documentation for internal and external purposes.

• Maintain accurate and organized financial records.

• Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Support audits by preparing necessary schedules and documents.

• Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned by the Finance team.

Requirements

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
