Key Responsibilities

• Operate inspection and rewinding machines according to approved operating procedures.
• Inspect finished or semi-finished materials for defects, damage, contamination, printing errors, dimensions, or other quality issues.
• Set up the machine according to product specifications, including roll width, tension, speed, length, and other required parameters.
• Perform rewinding of rolls while maintaining proper alignment, tension, roll quality, and appearance.
• Identify and segregate defective or non-conforming materials.
• Mark, label, and record rejected or defective products as required.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections during the production process.
• Ensure correct roll length, width, winding direction, core size, and roll appearance.
• Complete production, inspection, wastage, and rejection records accurately.
• Report machine problems, material defects, and quality issues to the supervisor.
• Carry out basic machine cleaning, lubrication, and routine operator-level maintenance.
• Ensure the machine and surrounding work area are clean and organized.
• Follow company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and quality standards.
• Assist with changeovers, roll loading/unloading, and material handling when required.
• Minimize material wastage and maintain efficient machine operation.
• Follow all company policies and instructions from supervisors.
• Perform other production-related duties as assigned.
