Responsibilities

Teaching & Learning:

• Deliver undergraduate and/or graduate teaching in Nursing and related courses in alignment with the College of Nursing curricula.
• Prepare and update course materials, conduct lectures, and tutorials, workshops.
• Supervise student research projects, and assessments.
• Incorporate innovative teaching methodologies, including active learning, interprofessional education, and technology-enhanced instruction.
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.

Research & Scholarly Activity:

• Publish regularly in reputable, peer-reviewed (Scopus-indexed) journals and present research at professional conferences.
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary research teams and seek external funding for research initiatives.
• Supervise undergraduate and/or postgraduate research projects.

Service & Administration:

• Participate actively in departmental and college committees and contribute to accreditation and quality assurance processes.
• Engage in professional and community service activities that advance the mission of the College of Nursing and the university.

Qualifications & experience

Associate Professor:

• Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Nursing or relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of teaching and research experience in higher education after the terminal degree.
• Solid publication record and evidence of professional and academic achievements.

Assistant Professor:

• Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Nursing or relevant field.
• Demonstrated potential in teaching, research, and service.
• Previous experience in higher education or postdoctoral training is preferred.

• Familiarity with international accreditation standards and quality assurance in Nursing education.
