About Wynn Al Marjan Island:

Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE. Set to open in 2027, the resort will be located 50 miles from Dubai International Airport in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The resort will offer 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges, and bars, a theater, and a beach club. About the Position:

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking an Assistant Shift Manager – Front Services to join the resort’s Front Services (Bell & Door) team.

The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:

• Lead Bell, Door, Valet coordination, and guest arrival team members during assigned shifts, ensuring clear deployment, visible leadership presence, and consistent luxury service execution.
• Oversee timely, secure, and discreet handling of guest luggage, storage, retrieval, room delivery, transportation coordination, and valet-related guest requests.
• Monitor arrivals, departures, group movements, VIP activity, casino and resort guest flow, and peak traffic periods while coordinating in real time with Front Desk, Concierge, Valet, Transportation, and Security teams.
• Provide hands-on operational support during peak arrivals, departures, group movements, VIP activity, special events, and casino or resort traffic surges.
• Coach, train, and guide team members on Wynn service behaviors, Forbes Five-Star standards, arrival etiquette, luggage handling, guest recognition, safety procedures, and professional appearance.
• Conduct structured shift briefings, handovers, pre-arrival reviews, and team readiness checks to ensure the operation is fully prepared before each service period.
• Maintain the appearance, cleanliness, organization, safety, and guest readiness of the porte cochère, entrance areas, bell desk, luggage storage, and related guest-facing spaces.
• Resolve guest inquiries, delays, luggage concerns, transportation issues, and service recovery opportunities with professionalism, discretion, urgency, and appropriate managerial follow-up.
• Ensure Forbes Five Star and Wynn service behaviors are consistently delivered, including warm acknowledgement, anticipatory assistance, escort etiquette, discreet service recovery, and polished farewell standards.
• Monitor and control operating supplies including luggage tags, claim checks, trolleys, umbrellas, guest amenities, storage equipment, and other Front Services tools required for daily operation.
• Escalate operational concerns, maintenance defects, guest feedback, service failures, staffing gaps, and safety matters promptly to the Manager – Front Services with recommended corrective action.
• Use operating systems and communication tools, including Opera, luggage tracking, valet coordination, and dispatch platforms where applicable, to support accurate shift execution and follow-up.
• Support daily labor control by monitoring break coverage, rotation discipline, queue pressure, guest volume, and service demand across the assigned shift.
• Contribute to a culture of accountability, teamwork, grooming excellence, safety awareness, and calm professional leadership during demanding service periods.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in luxury hotel bell services, door operations, guest arrival operations, or front services, including proven supervisory or shift leadership experience in a high-volume resort environment.
• Proven ability to lead diverse operational teams with confidence, fairness, urgency, and a visible luxury service mindset.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in fast-paced, high-visibility guest environments.
• Proficiency in property management systems, Microsoft Office, and operational communication tools used in luxury resort environments.
• Fluency in English is required; additional languages relevant to an international luxury resort environment are an advantage.
• Professional appearance, refined communication, cultural awareness, and a luxury guest-focused attitude aligned with Wynn Al Marjan Island standards.
• Ability to complete effective shift briefings, handovers, pre-arrival planning, team deployment, and readiness checks before each operating period.
• Ability to monitor luggage delivery timing, arrival queue flow, entrance readiness, VIP movement, guest wait times, and service recovery follow-up during each shift.
• Working knowledge of Opera, luggage tracking, valet coordination, dispatch communication platforms, Microsoft Office, and related operating systems is preferred.
