Independently manage all project phases, adhering to NEOM requirements and directives from the Head of Design. Collaborate with internal teams to understand and document data center requirements. Prepare comprehensive project and engineering reports. Perform meticulous design reviews to ensure high-quality outputs. Implement and promote best practice engineering methods. Demonstrate expertise in data center standards in accordance with local and international standards. Apply advanced knowledge of data center technologies and design criteria calculations. Design systems based on client requirements and specifications. Competent in managing all project stages from inception through to close-out, including reviewing tender documentation and managing the tender process. Collaborate with other design disciplines to ensure integrated and fit-for-purpose designs. Perform and review calculations and develop respective schematics and diagrams. Ensure designs meet or exceed NEOM quality standards Ensure thorough understanding of NEOM requirements among the GC and vendors/manufacturers, aligning specifications to guarantee appropriate equipment is delivered. Review and approval of equipment submittals, design and shop drawings. Define project scope and provide technical support during the construction phases. Oversee site construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications. Work with onsite field engineers, conduct engineering evaluations, and perform electrical systems audits and startups as needed. Foster a creative and enjoyable work environment by offering out-of-the-box solutions. 8+ years of relevant overall electrical experience, including: 5+ years of experience in data center electrical design. 5+ years of experience in developing design documentation (plans, specifications, etc.) for construction. 5+ years of experience in data center construction. Professional Engineering License. Experience with fast-track design/build projects or significant upgrade projects. Strong understanding of Uptime/ANSI/EIA/TIA & ISO standards, particularly those relevant to data centers. Ability to contribute to discussions across various disciplines in project meetings. Experience with large-scale technical operations or compute campuses. Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team on challenging projects with tight timelines. ability to be highly effective in a client-facing role. Excellent communication and project management abilities. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent with 8+ years of relevant electrical experience. MBA or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management (or PMP), Construction Management or a related field is preferred.
