Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates for 132kV / EHV transmission, cable laying, and substation projects in line with EPC and utility standards
- Review IFC drawings, SLDs, tender documents, and specifications to define complete project scope and execution methodology
- Perform accurate quantity take-offs (QTO) covering electrical, civil, and electromechanical works
- Develop structured BOQs and comprehensive cost breakdowns aligned with client tender requirements
- Prepare rate analysis for cable laying, trenching, ducting, jointing, and substation works including foundations and equipment erection
- Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations for technical compliance and commercial competitiveness
- Identify scope gaps, design risks, and contractual exposures, and support mitigation strategies during tender stage
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, planning, and execution teams for accurate and realistic cost inputs
- Ensure compliance with UAE utility authority standards (DEWA / TRANSCO / ADDC or equivalent)
- Support tender submissions, clarifications, negotiations, and bid strategy development for successful project awards
Basic Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5–10+ years’ experience in transmission estimation
- Experience in 132kV / EHV projects preferred
- UAE experience preferred
