Job Summary

Investigates, evaluates, negotiates and brings to a final resolution personal lines material/physical damage of a moderate to severe nature. Handling of claims in accordance with prescribed authorization and claims best practices. By analyzes and reviews claims for accuracy, completeness and eligibility.

Job Responsibilities

1. Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, pictures, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys to describe, certify, and assume liability for work performed.
2. Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
3. Record the results of motor surveys supported with document and photos.
4. Prepare or supervise preparation of all data, charts, plots, maps, records, photos, and documents related to surveys.
5. Write descriptions of motor surveys for use in legal documents.
6. Analyze survey objectives and specifications to prepare survey proposals or to direct others in survey proposal preparation.
7. Develop criteria for survey methods and procedures.
8. Collating and assessing risk information on site.
9. Use templates to record assessments and collecting photographic evidence.
10. Prepare and proofread detailed reports and presentations, and preliminary on-site reports, which include recommendations to the underwriters to enable them to decide the terms and conditions of the insurance policy.
11. Advise clients on site and discuss opportunities and requirements to reduce the level of risk or introduce the need for risk improvement programs.
12. Follow up with workshops and dealers on pending requests and ensure that all vehicles were served and repaired in a timely manner.
13. Any other assignment as is requested by the superiors to ensure compliance to operational guidelines of Wataniya and regulations of SAMA.
    

Job Duties

1. Receive and accept completed documents in support of the claim and to establish claim files.
2. Review the contents of documents to ensure that the insurance coverage is in force for the incident of loss that is claimed by the claimant.
3. Attend to the customers’ needs and assist them in sorting their documentation requirement.
4. Perform other related duties as required and assigned by supervisors.
5. Handle any complaints associated with a claim.
6. Build an excellent relationship with workshops and dealers.

Requirements

Educational Background and Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• IFCE Certificate

Experience:

• Relevant years of experience in the field of Insurance, or Accident investigations ranged between 1 year and 3 years.
