Job Responsibilities & Requirements
We are looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Technician with hands-on experience in fire alarm installation and fit-out projects, particularly shell & core developments.
Technical Skills & Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience in fire alarm installation and fit-out works.
Experience with Fire Alarm, Emergency Lighting (EL), Exit Lights, FM-200 and related fire protection systems.
Hands-on experience in cable pulling, conduiting, continuity testing and proper cable routing.
Skilled in device fixing, proper terminations, neat installation and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of fire alarm modules, NO/NC contacts and interfacing with other systems.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and follow installation requirements.
Experience in device labelling, testing & commissioning (T&C), system handover and preparation of service/installation reports.
Ability to coordinate effectively with main contractor supervisors, engineers and other MEP teams.
Ensure all installation works meet project specifications, quality standards and safety requirements.
Qualifications
ITI or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Previous experience with a fire protection company is preferred.
UAE experience is an advantage.
