JOB DESCRIPTION

Position : HOUSEKEEPING ATTENDANT

Department : GOLF OPERATIONS

Reports To : GOLF OPS. SUPERVISOR / JR. LDS LOCKER RM. SUPERVISOR

Purpose and Scope of Position:

(Job Summary)

To provide a well presented and efficient locker room service for our members and guests that come to use our Golf and Recreation facilities.

1. Main Duties:

(Job Related Duties)

• To maintain a smart and professional appearance at all times, adhering to the company dress standards (including name badge).
• To ensure that the locker room is kept clean and tidy at all times.
• To ensure a sufficient supply of toiletries are always available for use. To submit a requisition (from Stores) ahead of when any replacement is necessary.
• To ensure all soap and shampoo dispensers are full and in good working order.
• To ensure all floors and shower cubicles are regularly washed and dried.
• To ensure all sink top areas are always tidy and neatly presented for use.
• To ensure all used towels are collected immediately after use.
• To ensure towel stock is returned from the laundry in time to ensure there is never a shortage of towels available.
• To ensure the sauna and/or steam room are switched on and off at the appropriate time and that any problems with either piece of equipment is reported immediately to the Engineering Department.
• To offer (when available) daily use lockers to non-members, only after the relevant paper work is completed by the guest.
• To be fully aware of the Club’s lost and found procedures and to encourage all members and guests to keep all valuables in lockers.
• To display all provided signage as required/appropriate.

• To provide a shoe cleaning service when requested.
• To liaise with the Membership secretary regarding members locker usage and payments.
• To ensure any rules and regulations applying to the locker room are followed. To include who is permitted to use the locker room facilities and the importance of using discretion whilst changing.

2. Ancillary Duties:

In line with the Club’s strive for continuous improvement, you may be requested to participate in various extra activities contributing towards individuals and organizational growth.

Represents the department or a group in various committees, such as the Staff Committee, Green Theme (environmental), Food Committee, Sport Committee or projects. Be trained as a Fire Marshall or First Aider.

3. Quality Responsibilities:

Aware of Dubai Golf Mission, Vision and Values. Will be responsible to apply the 4 Service Steps throughout serving internal and external customers.

4. IT Security Awareness:

1. Read, Understand and comply with all applicable Information Security Policies and Procedures of wasl DG.
2. Co-operate, co-ordinate and share information with Internal/External Audit teams as appropriate and applicable.
3. Attend Information Security Awareness sessions conducted by the wasl IT Department.
4. All Information Security breaches, events, weaknesses, incidents (actual or suspected breaches) shall be immediately reported to the IT Service Desk.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

SUPPORTIVE SKILLS

Grade VIII and above.

Excellent communication skills

Good command of the English language.

Team player with the ability to interact with guests from different countries and cultures.

Possesses the desire to provide a high level of customer service.
