Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our growing finance team. As part of our team in Abu dhabi, you'll work in a REMOTE environment and play a key role in supporting daily financial operations, processing invoices, managing purchase orders, handling VAT submissions, and maintaining accurate bank details. Responsibilities

• Review and process invoices for payment in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate records of purchase orders (PO) and ensure compliance with internal policies
• Assist with VAT filings, ensuring correct calculations and documentation
• Support reconciliation of bank statements and handle bank details securely
• Assist senior accountants with monthly and quarterly closing processes
• Contribute to the preparation of regular finance reports

Must have requirements

• Proven knowledge of finance basics and accounting principles
• Experience in processing invoices
• Previous involvement with purchase orders (PO)
• Understanding of VAT rules and submissions
• Experience working with and maintaining accurate bank details
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate remotely

Nice to have requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Basic experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle)
• Previous remote work experience
• Familiarity with UAE or Gulf region financial regulations
