تعلن جامعة الشارقة، عبر قسم اللغات الأجنبية، عن 3 وظائف بدوام كامل لمحاضرين في اللغة الإنجليزية والكتابة. تشمل المهام تدريس مقررات اللغة الإنجليزية الشفوية والتحريرية لطلبة المرحلة الجامعية، إلى جانب أداء المهام الإدارية التي يحددها القسم أو مسؤولو الجامعة. يشترط الحصول على ماجستير في اللغويات الإنجليزية أو الأدب الإنجليزي، وتُعد الدكتوراه ميزة إضافية. تُفضّل الخبرة في تدريس الإنجليزية للأغراض الأكاديمية، مع تخصص في هذا المجال أو الكتابة والبلاغة أو الكتابة الإبداعية، لكنها ليست شرطاً أساسياً.

The Department of Foreign Languages at the University of Sharjah invites applications for a full-time Lecturer of English (language and writing), 3 Positions. They should have a MA in English Linguistics or Literature (PhD would be an advantage). Experience teaching English for Academic Purposes would be an advantage but is not essential. The position would be ideal for a recent PhD graduate looking to gain teaching experience.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English (spoken and written) courses at Undergraduate level. She/he will fulfil such administrative duties as the department chair or other university authorities appoint to them.
MA in English (Linguistics or Literature)
The successful candidate should specialize in one or more of the following areas: English for Academic Purposes, Writing and Rhetoric, Creative Writing.
