Jazeera Airways is looking for an OCC Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the Operations Control Center, ensuring safe, efficient, compliant, and punctual airline operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management of safety and security in flight operations.
• Supervision and control of all flights, operational control functions and other associated activities.
• Manage and ensure continuous flight-watch is carried out effectively to provide the best possible assistance in case of any deviation or diversion from normal operational plan.
• Forward planning to try to reduce disruption to the flight schedule and its possible impact.
• Monitor OTP and take all necessary actions to keep it high.
• Analyze delay reasons to implement corrective actions to avoid the future delays.
• Plan & arrange Flight Dispatcher & OCC team training.
• Receive voyage reports & all other reports on daily basis to distribute it to concerned departments and follow up for corrective actions.
• Ensure OCC activities are carried out safely and economically.
• Maintain OCC systems service standards.
• Enhance OCC training syllabus periodically.
• Make sure resources are utilized properly & efficiently.
• Secure manpower required to have 24/7 OCC coverage.
• Function as the focal point of coordination with Navigation & Performance, Commercial, Ground Operations & Maintenance;
• Arrange over flying clearances for scheduled, additional, training, ferry flight, positioning flights.
• Ensure SMS implementation in his/her area of work with reference to the company Integrated Management System Manual (IMSM) and OM-A.

Requirements

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree (or served more than 10 years in flight dispatch or operations control activities in some managerial areas).

Professional Experience:

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in flight dispatch or operational control activities out of which atleast 2 years in a managerial role.
• Holds flight dispatch certificate/license or equivalent.

• Excellent MS office (Word, Excel, Power point), Microsoft Outlook skills.
