Job Description

Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Painter to prepare and apply paint, coatings, and finishes to buildings, equipment, or other surfaces in Qatar. The ideal candidate will work safely, deliver high-quality results, and meet project specifications and deadlines.
Job Responsibility:
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling holes, and applying primer.
- Mix and apply paints, varnishes, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Protect nearby surfaces, fixtures, and furnishings from paint and damage.
- Select appropriate materials and finishes based on project requirements.
- Inspect completed work and correct imperfections to ensure a consistent finish.
- Maintain painting tools and equipment, and keep work areas clean and organized.
- Follow site safety procedures and use personal protective equipment.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to complete work on schedule.
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Painter in construction, maintenance, or a related field.
- Knowledge of surface preparation, paint types, application methods, and finishing techniques.
- Ability to use painting tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and specifications.
- Physically fit and able to work at heights or in varied site conditions when required.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
- Relevant trade training or certification is preferred.
