Project Logistics Construction Manager

### Job Summary
We are seeking a site-based Project Logistics Construction Manager to lead logistics planning and operations for a construction project in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will coordinate the movement, storage, and distribution of materials, equipment, and resources, ensuring logistics activities support construction progress and comply with project, safety, and regulatory requirements.
### Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the project logistics plan in coordination with the construction schedule and site requirements.
- Manage deliveries, transportation, unloading, storage, and distribution of construction materials and equipment.
- Coordinate with project management, construction, procurement, suppliers, subcontractors, transport providers, and relevant authorities.
- Plan site access, traffic management, delivery schedules, laydown areas, warehouses, and material-handling arrangements.
- Monitor logistics activities against project milestones and resolve delays or bottlenecks that could affect site progress.
- Oversee inventory tracking, logistics documentation, shipment records, permits, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate local and international shipments and customs clearance, where required.
- Monitor logistics costs, prepare forecasts, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Ensure logistics operations comply with project procedures and applicable health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections and report on logistics performance, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Lead and coordinate site logistics personnel and service providers.
### Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management,, project logistics management within the construction industry.
- Experience supporting large or complex construction projects is preferred.
- Knowledge of construction-site logistics, material handling, transportation planning, storage, and inventory control.
- Familiarity with UAE logistics requirements, permits, and customs processes.
- Strong leadership, planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics or ERP systems.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Abu Dhabi.
- Relevant health and safety training or certifications are an advantage.
