Scope of Work :
- Review the contract documents for each Construction stage/phase in respect of QA/QC requirements and procedures and advise the Project Manager of any deficiency.
- Review CV’s of contractor’s quality and inspection personnel, and advice the Project Manager of his comments.
- Review QA/QC Procedures and document control as submitted by the contractor and ensure implementation is in compliance with contract requirements.
- Review Inspection and Test Plan as submitted by the contractors and ensure compliance with specification requirements.
- Check all materials and equipment as delivered on site and ensure its compliance with approved materials and specification.
- Closely monitor site activities, fully coordinate with site engineers, on a daily basis issuing NCR’s in case of non-compliance and reporting to Project Manager in case of shortage of skilled laborers and/or site supervision staff.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager regarding work performance and hold authority to stop work in any area where discrepancies remain uncorrected and/or cancel the stop work order upon satisfactory correction of noted deficiencies.
- Provide technical support to the Project Manager and guidance to site staff in implementing the Project Quality Plan and QMS procedures;
- Attend Project Review Meetings and alert the project team of any potential problems
- Provide technical support to the Project Manager and guidance to site staff in submission of materials for approval, request for inspection, shop drawings, As-built drawings, O & M manual
- Reviewing all observations and firmly establishing the facts related to the findings.
- Following up the implementation of corrective actions based on the audit findings;
- Participate in the analyses, reviews, audits and assessments of the QMS in projects;
- Manage the on-site activities of QA/QC personnel assigned to the Project Team;
- Coordinating and driving compilation of technical site documentation.
- Coordinating with respect to QA/QC of contractor at the project site.
- Assist in the preparation of Project close out report.
