The Regional Quality Team Lead - Gas Services Middle East (GS ME) is responsible for leading a team of Quality professionals while driving world-class operational excellence across the Gas Services business throughout the Middle East region, covering the full lifecycle from Sales to Project Execution focused on Governance & Standards within Gas Services business.

Dedicated to improving business processes and fostering a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and operational excellence, this role plays a vital part in strengthening quality awareness, accountability, and ownership across all business areas. The Team Lead will champion the integration of People, Process, and Tools as the foundation for sustainable business excellence and customer success.

This position focuses on process improvements, driving customer satisfaction program, managing Non-Conformance Costs (NCC) in the business and driving avoidable non-conformance improvement programs, strengthening process governance, accelerating digitalization initiatives, and developing high-performing teams that drive measurable business improvements. The role partners closely with regional leadership, operational teams, and global quality organizations to deliver sustainable performance improvements and an outstanding customer experience.

• Lead and develop a team of Regional Quality Engineers and Quality Specialists across the Middle East region.

• Drive the deployment of the regional Quality Strategy while ensuring alignment with business objectives, customer expectations, and Siemens Energy values.

• Foster a strong culture focused on People, Process, and Tools, promoting quality ownership, accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.

• Act as a trusted partner to business leaders across Sales, Project Management, Outage Execution and Customer Support.

• Drive quality transformation initiatives focused on customer satisfaction, operational excellence, process compliance, and business performance.

• Lead initiatives aimed at reducing NCC through prevention-focused programs, structured problem solving, and robust lessons learned deployment.

• Strengthen customer relationships by proactively managing customer feedback, complaints, escalations, warranty trends, and Net Promoter Score (NPS) insights.

• Lead investigations into major quality issues and ensure effective containment actions, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and verification of effectiveness.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean, PDCA, Kaizen, Problem Solving Reports (PSR), 5 Why, and other operational excellence methodologies.

• Ensure effective implementation and continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS) and Quality Management System (QMS).

• Promote digitalization and automation of quality processes through data analytics, AI-enabled tools, workflow automation, and business intelligence solutions.

• Drive knowledge sharing, lessons learned management, and cross-functional collaboration to prevent recurrence of issues and accelerate organizational learning.

• Utilize business intelligence, quality metrics, operational KPIs, customer insights, and trend analysis to identify priorities and drive data-driven decisions.

• Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to implement best practices, standardize processes, and improve overall business performance.

• Coach, mentor, and develop employees to build future talent pipelines and strengthen the regional quality organization.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Science/Engineering or a related technical discipline in the relevant field.

• 5+ years of professional experience in Quality Management, Field Services, Project Management, Operational Excellence, within Power Generation, Energy, or relevant industrial sectors.

• Demonstrated experience leading teams, influencing stakeholders, and driving change in a matrix organization.

• Passion for developing people, improving processes, and leveraging digital tools to create sustainable business value.

• Strong understanding of Field Service Operations, Project Execution, Outage Management, Customer Support, or related operational environments.

• Experience in business process development, process governance, standardization, and compliance management.

• Strong knowledge and experience in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, Integrated Management Systems (IMS), and quality audits.

• Proven experience driving improvement programs and solving complex business challenges using structured methodologies.

• Strong understanding of Lean principles, PDCA, Kaizen, 5 Why, Ishikawa, Visual Process Management, and Operational Excellence frameworks.

• Experience utilizing data analytics, digital tools, dashboards, and business intelligence solutions to improve operational performance and decision-making.

• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives involving Sales, Project Management, Operations, Service Centers, and Customer-facing organizations.

• Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is considered an advantage.

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent certification is considered an advantage.

• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment across regional and global teams.

• Willingness to travel across the Middle East region as required.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
