Role Overview
The Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality clinical and nursing care to clients, including blood collection, vaccination, and medical assessment services. The role ensures patient safety, adherence to infection control standards, accurate documentation, and compliance with regulatory and organizational policies. The Nurse contributes to the overall client experience by delivering compassionate, efficient, and evidence-based care while supporting the organization’s mission of excellence in medical fitness and wellness services.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the implementation of Smart Salem’s nursing and infection control standards in alignment with DHA and facility regulations.
• Promote a culture of patient safety, quality assurance, and continuous improvement within the clinical team.
• Participate in departmental meetings, audits, and training initiatives to enhance clinical practice and service quality.
• Maintain up-to-date professional knowledge and ensure compliance with ongoing training, certifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Act as a brand ambassador for Smart Salem, ensuring a patient-centred and customer-focused approach in all interactions.
• Perform accurate venous blood collection and specimen handling according to laboratory protocols.
• Label, track, and dispatch samples in compliance with established procedures. • Assist physicians during examinations and medical procedures as required.
• Conduct physical assessments, record vital signs, and document medical histories with precision.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments while monitoring for adverse reactions.
