As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting and implementing the user-facing side of our web applications. You will work closely with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and performant web experiences. You aren’t just writing code; you are setting standards, improving CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring our frontend architecture can handle growth.
Key Responsibilities
● Architect & Develop: Design and maintain scalable frontend architectures using React and Next.js.
● Lead Technical Standards: Write clean, well-documented, and testable TypeScript code while enforcing these standards through rigorous code reviews.
● Performance Optimization: Audit and improve web performance (Core Web Vitals), ensuring fast load times and smooth interactions.
● State Management: Implement efficient data fetching and state management strategies (e.g., React Query, Context API, or Redux).
● UI/UX Collaboration: Work with UX designers to implement responsive, accessible (WCAG compliant), and pixel-perfect designs.
● Mentorship: Guide junior and mid-level engineers, helping them grow their technical skills and best practices.
Technical Requirements
● Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
● Core Skills: Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3/SCSS.
● Frameworks: Extensive experience with React and its ecosystem. Proficiency with Next.js (App Router/Pages Router) is highly preferred.
● Testing: Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
● Build Tools: Familiarity with modern build tools and bundlers (Vite, Webpack, Turbo).
● Version Control: Advanced Git workflow knowledge (branching, rebasing, resolving complex conflicts).
Preferred Qualifications
● Experience with React Native for mobile development.
● Knowledge of CI/CD processes (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and containerization (Docker).
