Brief Job Description:

Responsibilities and Measurement Criteria with Time investment Needed on Each:

• • Lead and supervise storekeepers and warehouse staff on daily activities.
  • Ensure proper receiving, inspection, storage, and issuance of materials.
  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records.
  • Conduct periodic stock counts and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Ensure all material movements are properly documented in the ERP/system.
  • Coordinate with Production, Procurement, QC, and Logistics departments.
  • Monitor material shortages and initiate replenishment requests.
  • Maintain FIFO/FEFO practices where applicable.
  • Ensure materials are stored safely and efficiently to prevent damage or loss.
  • Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and take corrective actions.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and store performance reports.
  • Provide training, guidance, and performance monitoring for store personnel.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the store operations.

Qualifications:

Required/ Minimum Qualifications:

• PC skills: Active user of Windows, MS Office incl. Excel (A), Word (A), PowerPoint (A)
• Technical/practical skills: Good analytical skills, Assessment skills, Organizational skills
• Core competencies: Initiative, Creative, Persuasive, Able to deal with conflict, Problem solving, Detail oriented, Analytical
• QMS, EMS, Health & Safety, Ethics and ITC training
• University degree – transport specialization
• 5 + years on similar positions/shipping/logistics/coordination.
• Active English

Additional / Preferred Qualifications:

• IT skills: Microsoft Office.
