We are seeking a Specialist Psychiatrist to join our dedicated team at the National Rehabilitation Centre. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality, evidence-based patient care, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients. As a Specialist Psychiatrist, you will be a key member of our Psychiatry Section, working closely with the Consultant Psychiatrist and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive psychiatric services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional patient care, utilizing evidence-based practices and clinical expertise.
• Serve as a role model for clinical excellence, inspiring and guiding junior doctors.
• Collaborate with the Consultant Psychiatrist and other specialists to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and provide accurate diagnoses.
• Prescribe and manage appropriate medications, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated with the latest advancements in psychiatry.
• Supervise and mentor junior doctors, fostering their growth and development.
• Participate in research initiatives and contribute to the advancement of psychiatric knowledge.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records, ensuring patient confidentiality.
• Promote a positive and supportive work environment, fostering collaboration and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Psychiatry is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing Psychiatrist.
• Excellent clinical skills and a strong understanding of psychiatric disorders.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities to guide junior doctors.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Up-to-date knowledge of psychiatric treatments and best practices.

• Eligibility to work in the country where the National Rehabilitation Centre is located.
