A Tech Lead is responsible for guiding and mentoring a development team to ensure high-quality software delivery while managing all technical and IT operations aspects for integrated operations. They must be knowledgeable about various automation tools required for process automation and testing, identifying and optimizing interdependencies between applications, development, and infrastructure operations. Their role involves solving technical issues, conducting code reviews, maintaining coding standards, and using agile methodologies to achieve continuous delivery within set KPIs, agreed budgets, and adopted policies and procedures. Strong technical expertise, leadership skills, effective communication, and analytical thinking are essential qualifications for this position.

Business Analysis

• Understand customer requirements and project KPIs.
• Implement various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure, setting up tools and required infrastructure.
• Define and set development, test, release, update, and support processes for development operations.
• Troubleshoot techniques and fix code bugs.
• Monitor processes during the entire lifecycle for adherence and update or create new processes for improvement and minimize wastage.
• Encourage and build automated processes wherever possible.
• Collaborate with development, QA, release engineering, operations, site support, and infrastructure teams to maintain high-quality deployment artifacts as they move through the entire deployment pipeline.
• Drive, design, implement, and maintain deployment automation from code check-aligning production.
• Guide and mentor team members to ensure high standards of software quality.
• Oversee the successful execution of technology projects, coordinating with internal resources and third-party vendors.
• Work closely with stakeholders to align technology products with the company’s strategic direction.
• Conduct peer-reviews of solution designs and related code to maintain coding standards.
• Use agile methodologies to achieve continuous delivery within set KPIs, agreed budgets, and adopted policies and procedures.

Requirements

Educational Background and Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related field is required.

Experience:

More than 4 years of experience in a related field.

Proven experience in leading and mentoring a development team.

Proficiency with various automation tools required for process automation and testing.

Excellent working knowledge of IT systems environments—operating systems, networking, applications, platforms, and databases.

Experience with at least one Web App Framework like (ASP.Net, JSF..etc)

Familiarity with common database technologies (MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).

Experience with agile methodologies to achieve continuous delivery.

Experience working closely with stakeholders to align technology products with strategic goals.
