Job Description
Job purpose: Lead mechanical MEP engineering and execution, ensuring systems are designed, coordinated, installed, tested and commissioned in accordance with approved project requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Lead mechanical MEP engineering, site execution and technical teams.
- Oversee HVAC, ventilation, chilled-water, plumbing and associated mechanical systems as applicable to the project.
- Review design drawings, shop drawings, material submittals and technical specifications.
- Manage design coordination, clash resolution and value engineering.
- Coordinate with electrical, civil, structural, consultant and subcontractor teams.
- Monitor technical submissions, approvals, testing, commissioning and handover.
- Resolve complex engineering issues and support project planning and resource management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 15–20+ years of mechanical MEP experience, including technical management responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, building services and MEP coordination.
- Proven UAE/GCC project experience.
- Strong leadership, troubleshooting and stakeholder management skills.
