FACULTY POSITION IN FINANCE: The Department of Finance at American University of Sharjah invites applications for a Visiting Faculty position at the Associate or Full Professor level starting in the Fall 2027 Semester. The appointment may be for six months or one year. Applications are welcome from all areas of finance. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the department’s research, teaching and service activities. Preference will be given to candidates with a proven excellent teaching background paired with a strong track record of publications in leading Finance journals. The salary is competitive and tax-free in the UAE. Additionally, free housing, paid utilities and other attractive benefits are included.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: All candidates must hold a PhD degree in finance from an AACSB-accredited university, preferably located in North America. Candidates must have significant research accomplishments, including publication in top-tier finance journals. A successful candidate should be willing to teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
