Position: Accounts Supervisor
Industry: Construction / Engineering
Experience: 3–5 Years

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day accounting and finance activities.
• Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank transactions.
• Review and process supplier invoices, payment requests, and supporting documents.
• Monitor customer receivables and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Prepare and review monthly closing activities and financial reports.
• Reconcile bank accounts, supplier accounts, customer accounts, and general ledger balances.
• Monitor project-wise expenses, costs, and budgets.
• Coordinate with project/site teams regarding cost allocation, invoices, expenses, and supporting documents.
• Verify subcontractor and supplier invoices against contracts, purchase orders, work orders, and approvals.
• Assist in project cost control and budget monitoring.
• Support preparation of cash-flow statements and payment forecasts.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
• Assist with internal and external audits and provide required financial information.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies, procedures, and applicable statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with procurement, commercial, HR, and project teams for finance-related matters.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
• Prepare MIS and other financial reports as required by management.
• Supervise junior accounting staff and allocate daily accounting tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (BSc)
• Bachelor of Engineering (BE)
