Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day accounting and finance activities.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank transactions.
- Review and process supplier invoices, payment requests, and supporting documents.
- Monitor customer receivables and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Prepare and review monthly closing activities and financial reports.
- Reconcile bank accounts, supplier accounts, customer accounts, and general ledger balances.
- Monitor project-wise expenses, costs, and budgets.
- Coordinate with project/site teams regarding cost allocation, invoices, expenses, and supporting documents.
- Verify subcontractor and supplier invoices against contracts, purchase orders, work orders, and approvals.
- Assist in project cost control and budget monitoring.
- Support preparation of cash-flow statements and payment forecasts.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
- Assist with internal and external audits and provide required financial information.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies, procedures, and applicable statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with procurement, commercial, HR, and project teams for finance-related matters.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
- Prepare MIS and other financial reports as required by management.
- Supervise junior accounting staff and allocate daily accounting tasks.
