About Wynn Al Marjan Island:
Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE. Set to open in 2027, the resort will be located 50 miles from Dubai International Airport in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The resort will offer 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges, and bars, a theater, and a beach club. It will feature multiple swimming and wading pools, a five-star spa, a salon, a shopping promenade, and a celebrations and events center.
About the Position:
Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking an Assistant Manager to join the resort’s Pool Services team.
The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:
- Assist in overseeing daily pool operations, including lifeguard and pool attendant scheduling, guest services, and cleanliness.
- Monitor water quality and coordinate with engineering for maintenance and repairs.
- Support the Aquatics Manager in ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Supervise and train team members to maintain high standards of service and safety.
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain inventory of pool supplies and assist with ordering and stock control.
- Ensure poolside amenities (towels, cabanas, loungers) are well-maintained and presented.
- Assist in organizing poolside events and special services.
- Ensure qualitative Forbes Five Star standards are met.
- Maintain accurate records of water testing, incident reports, and staff certifications.
- Promote a positive team culture focused on guest satisfaction and operational excellence
About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Diploma or degree in Hospitality, Recreation, or related field preferred.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in pool or recreation operations, with supervisory experience.
Lifeguard and First Aid/CPR certification required; Pool Operator Certification preferred.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Knowledge of pool maintenance and water safety standards.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Prior experience and training with Forbes Travel Guide standards required.
