Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Slitting Operator in machine setup, job changeovers, and production runs.
• Load and unload jumbo rolls and finished slit rolls safely.
• Prepare cores, labels, packaging materials, and tools required for production.
• Monitor machine operation and report any abnormalities to the Operator.
• Assist in maintaining product quality by checking roll appearance, width, winding quality, and labeling.
• Ensure proper identification and packing of finished goods.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping around the machine and work area.
• Support waste segregation and minimize material wastage.
• Follow production schedules and work instructions.
• Comply with all safety, quality, food safety, and company policies.
• Assist in routine machine cleaning and preventive maintenance activities.
• Complete production and quality records as instructed.

Qualifications

• High School / Secondary / Diploma / ITI
• Technical or vocational training is an added advantage.

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in flexible packaging, printing, lamination, or slitting operations is preferred.
