The Chief Accountant oversees the day-to day accounting function of Daikan Hospitality Group, ensuring accurate, timely, and complian financial records for the FZCO entity and all outlets.Reporting to the Head of Finance,the role manages the general ledger, financial reporting,month-endclose, reconciliations, payables, receivables, cashflow, and internal controls.The role also supports budgeting, cost control, audits, and UAE tax compliance while working closely with Operations, HR, and Purchasing to deliver reliable outlet-level financial insights.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly,quarterly,andannual financialstatements under IFRS,outlet-level P&Ls,budgets,forecasts,and management reports.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing,journal entries,accruals,provisions,depreciation,and generalled geraccuracy.
• Oversee bank,cash,POS,card,delivery platform,intercompany,supplier,and balance sheet reconciliations while strengthening internal controls.
  
• Manage accounts payable/receivable,payment runs,cashflow,payroll accounting,UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance,and external audits.
• Maintain accounting systems,supervise finance staff,manage inventory and fixed assets,update SOPs,and ensure audit-ready records.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CMA or CA) is preferred
• Minimum 7 years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years at a senior or supervisory level; hospitality, F&B or multi-outlet experience is strongly preferred
• Solid UAE experience, including VAT, Corporate Tax and free zone (FZCO) reporting
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, month-end close, reconciliations and financial statement preparation
• Hands-on experience with accounting ERP systems (for example Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, SAP, Odoo, Tally or Zoho Books) and restaurant POS reporting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, financial models)
• High attention to detail, integrity and confidentiality, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Excellent written and spoken English and clear communication with non-finance teams
