Position Summary
The CT / MRI Technician operates advanced diagnostic imaging equipment to produce high-quality scans. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and accurate data collection to support physicians in clinical diagnoses.
Core Responsibilities
- Equipment Operation: Prepare and operate CT and MRI scanners to perform complex diagnostic procedures.
- Patient Care: Explain procedures to patients, screen for MRI contraindications, and position them accurately.
- Safety Protocols: Adhere strictly to radiation safety, magnetic field safety, and infection control standards.
- Image Quality: Evaluate completed scans for technical quality, ensuring clarity and accuracy for radiologists.
- Documentation: Maintain precise patient logs, scan records, and equipment maintenance histories.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Radiography, Medical Imaging, or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of continuous clinical experience in both CT and MRI modalities.
- License: Active DHA License or DHA Eligibility Letter as a Radiographer/Imaging Technologist.
- Competencies: Strong technical knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, protocols, and contrast administration.
