Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
To lead cost control activities across civil construction projects, ensuring accurate budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
● Develop and maintain project cost control systems and budgets.
● Lead monthly cost reporting, forecasting and variance analysis.
● Review and validate subcontractor and supplier cost data.
● Advise project management on cost risks and mitigation strategies.
● Support commercial close-out and final account preparation.
● Mentor junior cost control staff.
REQUIREMENTS
● 10+ years UAE/GCC experience in cost control within civil contracting.
● Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
● Advanced proficiency in cost control software and MS Excel.
● Proven experience on large-scale building construction projects.
● Degree in Quantity Surveying, Finance, Civil Engineering or a related field.
