We are looking for an experienced Storekeeper to manage daily warehouse activities for frozen chicken and seafood products. The candidate will be responsible for inventory management, data entry, stock monitoring, loading and unloading, and maintaining accurate stock records while ensuring proper storage and handling of frozen food products.

Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate inventory records for frozen chicken, seafood, and other food products.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure physical stock matches system records.
• Conduct daily stock checks and periodic physical inventory counts.
• Identify and report stock shortages, excess stock, damaged goods, and discrepancies.
• Data Entry and Documentation
• Enter daily stock receipts, issues, transfers, and deliveries into the system.
• Prepare and maintain Goods Received Notes (GRN), delivery notes, invoices, and stock transfer records.
• Update inventory records accurately and on time.
• Maintain proper documentation for all warehouse transactions.

Stock Reports

• Prepare daily and monthly stock reports.
• Maintain product-wise stock records, including quantities, batch numbers, and expiry dates.
• Report low stock, slow-moving items, damaged products, and near-expiry stock to the management.
• Assist with monthly stock reconciliation.

Loading and Unloading

• Supervise and assist with loading and unloading incoming and outgoing goods.
• Verify product quantities against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Ensure the correct products and quantities are dispatched to customers.
• Coordinate with drivers, warehouse staff, and sales teams for timely deliveries.

Frozen Food Storage and Handling

• Ensure frozen chicken and seafood are stored in the designated freezer areas.
• Monitor and report freezer temperature deviations to the supervisor.
• Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) stock rotation procedures.
• Ensure products are properly arranged, labelled, and stored under appropriate frozen conditions.
• Immediately report damaged packaging, thawed products, or any suspected quality issues.

Warehouse Management

• Keep the warehouse and freezer areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Arrange stock properly for easy identification and retrieval.
• Coordinate with the purchasing and sales departments regarding stock availability.
• Follow company procedures for food safety, hygiene, and warehouse security.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience as a Storekeeper or Warehouse Storekeeper, preferably in frozen food trading.
• Experience handling frozen chicken, seafood, or other frozen food products is preferred.
• Good knowledge of inventory management and stock control.
• Basic computer skills and experience with Excel and inventory or ERP systems.
• Ability to prepare stock reports and perform accurate data entry.
• Knowledge of batch numbers, expiry dates, FIFO, and FEFO procedures.
• Physically fit to assist with loading and unloading when required.
• Good organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work in a cold-storage environment.
