Join our Water & Maritime team in Jeddah and help shape high-quality proposals and tenders for projects across the Middle East. In this regional role, you will bring structure to complex submission processes, connect technical and commercial teams, and use data and digital tools to strengthen our business development activities.

What you will do as a Tender Desk Assistant

As a Tender Desk Assistant, you will support proposal, tender and business development activities across the Middle East. Working closely with our Business Development, Technical and Marketing teams, you will help qualify opportunities, coordinate submissions and improve the quality and efficiency of our regional business development processes.

You will manage multiple requirements and deadlines while ensuring that proposal materials are clear, compliant and of a consistently high standard. You will also use CRM data, reporting tools and AI-enabled solutions to improve proposal development, document management and team productivity.

• Coordinate proposals and tenders: Support regional business development activities and coordinate high-quality, compliant submissions, from preparing templates and schedules to managing reviews, stakeholder input and final submission.
• Identify and qualify opportunities: Monitor tender portals, procurement platforms and client announcements, conduct market research across priority countries and sectors, screen leads and support opportunity qualification with Business Development teams.
• Support strategic pursuits: Review requests for proposals to identify key risks, opportunities and potential win themes, while liaising with Business Development, Marketing and technical teams on major pursuits across countries and business units.
• Manage business development information: Maintain project references, capability statements, brochures, proposal libraries, CapStats and Toolkit resources, and keep Oracle CRM and ABW opportunity records accurate and up to date.
• Improve reporting and ways of working: Support pipeline reporting and proposal performance analysis, prepare Power BI dashboards and regional business development reports, apply AI and digital tools to improve workflows, and contribute to Tender Desk best practices across the region.

As our new Tender Desk Assistant, you will join our Water & Maritime team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. You will work with colleagues from different technical and commercial disciplines and support business development and tender activities across the Middle East.

What you bring

You are proactive, resourceful and solution-oriented, with strong attention to detail and a genuine commitment to delivering high-quality work. You organise your work effectively, remain composed under tight deadlines and are comfortable coordinating several priorities at the same time.

You communicate confidently with multidisciplinary and multicultural stakeholders and can work independently while remaining closely connected to regional teams. You are also interested in digital ways of working and can use data and AI-enabled tools to support research, content development and proposal preparation.

• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing or a related discipline.
• Between two and five years of experience in proposal coordination, tender support or business development support.
• Excellent written and spoken English, including confidence in business writing and proposal coordination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI or another data visualisation tool is preferred.
• Familiarity with Oracle CRM, ABW, proposal libraries, tender portals or procurement platforms is an advantage.

This position is open to Saudi nationals only as part of the company’s Saudization programme.
