The Academic Centre at the Bahrain Institute of Banking & Finance is seeking a Part Time Lecturers to deliver the following undergraduate modules:
- Business Analytics, Applied Modelling and Prediction - University of London (DSBA)
- Advanced Statistics: Distribution Theory - University of London (DSBA)
- Advanced Statistics: Statistical Interference
- Management and Innovation of E-Business
- Statistical Methods for market Research
- Business Analytics and Business Analytics Coding
- Teach and manage learning activities on a range of courses provided by BIBF and associated subjects
- Assist the planning and implementation of a high quality curriculum, manage and monitor the quality and relevance of course content and methods of delivery
- Review syllabus, textbooks, course materials, manuals, lecture notes, handouts, visual and other aids, document and record the course contents in alignment with BIBF’s policies and procedures
- Follow up with students for any course submissions, case study analysis, assessment reports, etc. assigned to them as a part of the course/program requirement, verify and assess/grade all submissions
- Act as an Assessor or internal verifier, if and when required
- Conduct periodic assessments and (preliminary) exams to monitor students’ progress and performance.
- Carry out a range of administrative tasks and provide support to other colleagues.
- Invigilate exams in accordance with university regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Relevant subject or equivalent is required
- Minimum 5 years knowledge of the subject area combined with a broad subject background enabling contributions to teaching programs
- Ph.D. /Master’s degree in a relevant subject or equivalent professional qualification is preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years industry experience is desirable
- Membership of a related professional body is desirable
