You’ll work closely with Finance, Business, and cross-functional teams to maintain the integrity of Zid’s financial records, improve accounting processes, support audits and tax requirements, and provide reliable financial information that enables better business decisions.
💰 What You’ll Work On:
In this role, you will:
Lead and oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management
Own the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
Review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and other accounting transactions
Prepare and review monthly financial statements, management reports, and accounting schedules
Ensure financial records are maintained accurately and in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies
Monitor and maintain strong internal controls across accounting processes
Oversee bank, balance sheet, intercompany, and other key account reconciliations
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely processing
Monitor cash movements and support cash flow management and forecasting
Coordinate with external auditors and support annual audits and financial reviews
Support VAT, ZATCA, tax, and other statutory compliance requirements in coordination with relevant teams and advisors
Ensure accounting records and supporting documentation are complete, accurate, and audit-ready
Partner with Finance and business teams to resolve accounting issues and provide guidance on financial transactions
Review accounting treatment for new products, contracts, and business initiatives
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, automation, and reporting
Support the implementation and improvement of accounting systems and finance tools
Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and documentation
Lead, coach, and develop accounting team members while promoting a culture of accuracy and accountability
Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements
🧠 What We’re Looking For:
Core Qualifications:
8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with experience in a management or senior accounting role
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Strong hands-on experience with general ledger, reconciliations, month-end close, AP, and AR
Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements and management reports
Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabia accounting and tax requirements, including VAT and ZATCA regulations
Experience working with external auditors and supporting statutory audits
Strong understanding of internal controls and accounting processes
Experience with accounting or ERP systems and financial reporting tools
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict reporting deadlines
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Fluent Arabic and strong English communication skills
