Higher Colleges of Technology is seeking temporary adjunct faculty to teach undergraduate courses in CIS and assigned areas of the discipline. Duties include teaching in a student-centric environment and may include capstone projects, work experience, senior-level courses, applied research, and college or community activities. Teaching loads are assigned according to need and may not exceed 9 credits per semester; schedules are based on teaching requirements, normally Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM. Applicants should have a relevant master's degree and professional certification, or may be considered with a bachelor's degree, extensive industry experience, and relevant industry certification; 5 years of relevant industry experience is preferred.

To provide effective instruction in specific course(s) in the assigned CIS subjects and in at least two or more specific areas of the assigned program/discipline to the second language learners within a student-centric learning environment to foster respect for students, their culture, and their traditions. To actively participate in academic and extra-curricular events at the College and within the community.
Adjunct Faculty are temporary teaching staff employed within the college to enhance student learning, and who bring with them a wide array of practical knowledge and varied experience. Reporting to the Program Coordinator of a Division, Adjunct Faculty provide effective instruction in undergraduate courses in respective discipline, covering regular program courses including capstone projects, work experience, and senior-level specialized courses. Involvement in applied research and extra-curricular events at the College and within the community and outreach activities are welcomed.
Adjunct Faculty teaching load are assigned on as per need basis and may not exceed Nine (9) credits per semester. The workdays in a week are normally Mondays to Fridays from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The hours of work for academic employees are based on the teaching schedule.
