Scheduling and Coordination
- Manage the ATSI Operational Roster
- Assist with the ANS Training Roster, allocating ATSIs and Pseudo Pilots for courses and simulator duties
- Update the staff records of Computer Based Exams.
- Arrange and book conference room and classrooms for students and visitors.
Performance Review and Assessments
- Ensure rostering students for Progress Checks, Assessments, and Interviews.
- Maintain ATCOs/ ATCAs rostering for local Competency Checks and Tape Reviews.
- Compile the ATCO and ATCA Training and Competency SATIs.
- Create issue and file course certificates.
Assistance to MANSP Training
- Maintaining accurate records of all documents (training reports, memos etc.).
- Support the audit process and related documentation
- Assist with compiling the annual ANS Training Section budget.
- Ensure all interdepartmental documentation is managed properly
- Oversee the requisitions of office equipment and stationery for ANSPT
- Assist with the staff leave rostering and records.
Simulator Training
- Supervise and monitor the pseudo pilots during the simulator exercises and manage the overall operation of the exercises
- Updating and management of the Computer Based Examination PCs both in ACC and EACC
- Enact pilot’s role during exercises in the ATC simulator.
- Act as Flight Data Processor during simulator exercises.
- Act as simulator exercise support by communicating as external/internal units.
- Perform OJT of Pseudo Pilots
Technical Competency
- Maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of relevant parts of PANS ATM and ICAO documents, Emirates AIP, and Local ATC instructions of the UAE ACC.
- Undergo periodic competency checking in handling of simulator duties.
Training equipment readiness
- Participate in testing, configuration and commissioning of relevant equipment and software relating to the simulator and its upgrades as and when needed.
- Assist in keeping all relevant TRN data and documentation up to date.
- Maintain a thorough operational knowledge and understanding of the equipment and systems used for the provision of ATS in the UAE FIR.
- Bring to the attention of ATSIs any occurrence or system failure that will affect the simulator.
Training Administrative support
- Liaise with the ATSIs regarding the daily simulator schedule
- Conduct back-up operations for the simulator systems and data
- Manage classrooms (allocation of classrooms, stationery, books, and manuals for various training courses conducted)
- Supervise preparation of documents for ad hoc technical related courses or as required by ATSIs
- Assist ATSIs in collating data and preparing exercises for the simulator.
- Complete progress reports on trainee Pseudo Pilots and discuss the contents with the trainees, other OJTIs and management
- Provide administrative support to Senior ATSIs
KKNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors’ degree or equivalent
- Fluent in written and spoken English
