Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Assistant Project Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to assist the Project Manager to plan and execute all the assigned projects.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Identifying clients’ or stakeholders’ project needs and goals.
- Creating a detailed plan to successfully complete a project.
- Organizing and storing project reports and documents.
- Managing the project team, including task delegation and work schedule.
- Maintaining project documentation.
- Assisting with the preparation and proofing of project deliverables.
- Tracking and reporting project progress.
- Liaising with project stakeholders concerning project details and deliverables.
- Assisting in the planning, scheduling and implementation of projects.
- Helping to coordinate and manage project tasks and deliverables.
- Analyzing data as required.
- Conducting administrative duties, such as setting up meetings, drafting invoices and drawing estimates.
- Tracking and reporting project progress.
- Performing other duties assigned by the Project Manager in an orderly and efficient manner
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management within infrastructure and architectural projects.
- Infrastructure & engineering industry experience, covering roads & highways, wet or dry utilities, transport engineering, and urban planning.
- Experience with project management software.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to plan and organize effectively.
- Excellent multitasking skills and be able to manage multiple projects at the same time.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Verbal and written proficiency in Arabic.
- PMP certificate is an advantage.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil3D, Bentley software
- Design experience is an advantage
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
