The Back Store Operator plays a critical role in managing inbound stock, coordinating with warehouse teams, ensuring stock integrity, maintaining the back store, and supporting store-level inventory processes. - Receive stock and confirm ASN as per SOP within timelines
- Coordinate with warehouse for discrepancies, replacements & returns
- Track and report stock excess, shortage, and damage
- Maintain accurate physical and system inventory
- Ensure proper documentation of SRNs, store transfers, and deliveries
- Manage and organize back store area following FIFO and safety standards
- Monitor COD reservations, DO closure, discrepancies, and cancellations
- Prepare and maintain records for damages, SAJs, and stock adjustments
- Execute daily inventory checks and perpetual counts as per schedule
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Timely ASN confirmation and discrepancy resolution (within 48 hours)
- 100% compliance with inventory SOPs and documentation
- Back store audit score ≥ 90%
- Zero negative inventory cases without corrective action
- Timely clearance of COD orders and returns
- Adherence to stock take schedules and variance reporting
- 100% completion of daily inventory hygiene tasks
- Timely reporting and closure of damage and discrepancy cases
