Your day to day
As Bell Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service by assisting guests with their luggage, escorting them to their rooms, delivering amenities, and offering information about hotel services and local attractions. This role contributes to creating a welcoming and memorable first and last impression of the hotel.
Greet guests promptly and courteously upon arrival and departure.
Assist with luggage handling including loading and unloading from vehicles and delivering to guest rooms.
Escort guests to rooms, explain hotel features and amenities, and offer assistance as needed.
Retrieve luggage for departing guests and ensure timely delivery.
Store and retrieve luggage and packages for guests in the luggage room.
Respond to guest requests such as room changes, directions, or transportation arrangements.
Deliver items such as messages, packages, mail, or amenities to guest rooms.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lobby, entrance, and bell desk area.
Assist with valet duties if needed (if trained and licensed).
Work closely with the Front Desk, Concierge, and other departments to ensure seamless guest service.
Report any lost or found items to the appropriate department.
What we need from you
- 1+ years of experience in a Bell Attendant or similar guest service position.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Team player.
- Physically agile, and able to stand for extended periods.
- Available to work shifts, over weekends and on public holidays.
- A naturally outgoing and friendly personality with a passion for service excellence to consistently deliver and demonstrate voco service standards.
- A true “team-player” mentality and flexible attitude towards a diverse set of tasks.
- Excellent communication skills.
