What You Will Do:
- Prospect, source, inspect and purchase vehicles at recommended prices.
- Deliver monthly vehicle-purchase targets and contribute to the budgeted gross-margin target.
- Maintain a balanced stock mix and appropriate pricing to support faster stock turnover and stock-age targets.
- Identify and maximise wholesale opportunities to buy and sell vehicles.
- Accurately record vehicle-condition findings on inspection forms and derive appropriate values.
- Provide internal and external customers with a consistently positive experience.
- Review your performance regularly and continuously improve against agreed targets.
Required Skills To Be Successful
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree.
- At least one year of relevant experience.
- Experience buying or selling vehicles, or workshop-floor experience within a major automotive franchise.
- Sound vehicle-assessment and valuation capability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Self-motivated, target-focused and comfortable working in a high-activity environment.
- Customer-focused, emotionally mature and effective in a multicultural team.
