We are looking for a Catering Sales Coordinator to join our team in Dubai. This is a client-facing sales role for someone who understands the catering and events market, communicates confidently with customers, and is capable of turning enquiries and relationships into confirmed business.
The ideal candidate will already have some established relationships within the local market, particularly with corporate companies, offices, schools, event planners, venues, or other organizations that regularly require catering services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, offices, schools, event planners, venues, and other organizationsthat regularly purchase catering services.
- Proactively identify and pursue new catering sales opportunities in the Dubai market.
- Respond to incoming enquiries through phone, WhatsApp, email, and face-to-face meetingsin a professional and timely manner.
- Understand client requirements and recommend suitable catering solutions based on event type, guest numbers, budget, and service requirements.
- Prepare accurate quotations, proposals, menus, and event details.
- Follow up on quotations and enquiries to convert opportunities into confirmed bookings.
- Coordinate multiple catering events and enquiries simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and client requirements are met.
- Work closely with operations, kitchen, logistics, and other internal teams to ensure smooth event execution.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, enquiries, quotations, confirmed events, and client follow-ups.
- Build repeat business by maintaining strong relationships and providing excellent customer service.
- Attend client meetings, site visits, networking opportunities, and events when required.
- Support the achievement of monthly and annual catering sales targets.
- Follow up with clients after events to obtain feedback, encourage repeat business, and identify further opportunities.
Requirements
- Previous experience in catering, events, hospitality, or a related sales environment.
- Proven sales or business development ability, preferably within the Dubai/UAE catering and events market.
- Existing relationships or a demonstrable network of potential catering clients will be strongly preferred.
- Experience dealing with corporate offices, schools, event planners, venues, companies, or organizationsthat regularly purchase catering services is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify and develop sales opportunities.
- Excellent follow-up skills and a proactive approach to converting enquiries into business.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple events, enquiries, quotations, clients, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when preparing quotations and event requirements.
