- Lead and coordinate the execution of all tunnel civil works, including segmental lining erection, annular/backfill grouting, cross-passage construction, invert works, and structural interface activities at launching and receiving shafts.
- Ensure tunnel lining installation, ring build quality, and grouting operations comply with approved designs, specifications, and project quality standards.
- Oversee construction of cross-passages, tunnel secondary lining, invert slabs, drainage systems, and associated structural works.
- Monitor tunnel geometry, lining integrity, settlement data, and structural performance to ensure safe and compliant construction.
- Coordinate with TBM, geotechnical, survey, and design teams to manage construction interfaces and address technical issues.
- Review and implement method statements, inspection test plans (ITPs), and quality assurance procedures for tunnel civil activities.
- Manage subcontractors, supervisors, and construction crews to achieve planned production targets while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Identify and mitigate construction risks related to ground conditions, water ingress, structural movements, and interface works.
- Ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, and resources required for tunnel civil operations.
- Monitor progress, productivity, and cost performance, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
- Lead inspections, testing, defect rectification, and handover activities to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Ensure all activities are executed in accordance with project HSE requirements, statutory regulations, and industry best practices.
