About the Role
As a Commis 1 at Nobu, you will play an important role in supporting the culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences. You will be responsible for preparing ingredients, assisting in the cooking and presentation of dishes, maintaining your designated section, and ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality, consistency, and hygiene. Working closely with senior chefs, you will contribute to the smooth operation of the kitchen while developing your technical and culinary expertise in a fast-paced luxury dining environment.

The ideal candidate has previous experience as a Commis Chef in a high-volume restaurant or luxury hospitality setting. You are passionate about culinary excellence, eager to enhance your skills, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety. You have strong attention to detail, work well under pressure, and thrive as part of a collaborative team. Experience with Japanese cuisine or fine dining operations is advantageous, along with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within a world-class culinary team.
