- Responsible in recording the presence of diseases or abnormalities and to refer the patient to the General Dentist
- Prescribe medication as needed.
- Provide the following dental treatments;
- Scaling and Polishing.
- Deep Scaling.
- Bleaching if needed.
- Provide Oral Hygiene Education to the Patients.
- Complies with the standards laid down by the Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA)/ Central Board for accreditation of Healthcare Institutions (CBAHI) and performs duties necessary to support and achieve accreditation.
- Responsible to adhere the safety and security measures.
- Responsible to apply the Infection Control measures.
- Participate in the Hospital educational activity program.
- Participate in, and lead person-centered care initiatives undertaken by HMG.
- Enrich patient experience with compassion, respect and dignity.
- Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his knowledge, skills and abilities
Requirements
- At least two (2) years of practical experience.
- Relevant Certificates
- Specialized Diploma for Dental Hygiene from an accredited Dental School OR General Dentistry Degree
- Relevant certificates (BLS, preferably ACLS certified)
