As a Director some of your responsibilities will include:
- Leading audits of ADGM-regulated entities and Financial Services clients
- Building and maintaining relationships with ADGM stakeholders, regulators, and key market participants
- Ensuring compliance with ADGM, FSRA, IFRS, and ISA requirements
- Acting as the primary contact for Boards, Audit Committees, and Senior Management
- Driving business development and expanding Grant Thornton's presence within the ADGM ecosystem
- Providing technical guidance on complex financial reporting and regulatory matters to clients and engagement teams
- Mentoring and developing senior audit professionals while maintaining the highest audit quality standards
Skills Description

- 11+ years of External Audit experience in a top international firm
- Professionally qualified (ACA, CPA, ACCA)
- Extensive post-qualification audit experience, being keen to work with a diverse range of businesses
- Confident in IFRS, internal controls, and consolidation of financial statements
- You’ll have a strong network of Public Sector clients in the UAE market
- A passion for business development and a desire to be involved in developing a strategy for the team
- Significant leadership experience in audit within practice
- Experienced in working on large audits and complex groups in addition to dealing with complex technical matters
- Strong working knowledge of compliance and regulation
- Proven ability to inspire and develop people
