THE TEAM
As a member of the Executive Committee, you will lead the Commercial function at Rosewood Abu Dhabi, overseeing Sales, Revenue Management, Reservations, Distribution, and Business Development. You will work closely with the Managing Director and collaborate with department leaders across Rooms, Food & Beverage, Spa, and Residences to drive commercial excellence, enhance market positioning, and achieve sustainable business growth.
YOUR ROLE
As Director of Commercial, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the hotel's overall commercial strategy, ensuring revenue optimization across all revenue-generating departments. You will play a pivotal role in maximizing profitability, market share, and long-term growth while strengthening key client relationships and identifying new business opportunities. Through strategic leadership, market insight, and close collaboration with operational teams, you will help position Rosewood Abu Dhabi for continued success in a highly competitive luxury hospitality market.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE
- Develop and execute the hotel's commercial strategy to maximize revenue, profitability, market share, and long-term business performance.
- Lead and inspire the Sales, Revenue Management, Reservations, Distribution, and Business Development teams to achieve ambitious commercial objectives.
- Drive revenue optimization through strategic pricing, forecasting, inventory management, and distribution channel performance.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with key corporate, leisure, government, and wholesale partners.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and inform strategic decision-making.
- Partner with operational leaders to ensure commercial initiatives support both financial performance and exceptional guest experiences.
- Oversee annual budgets, revenue forecasts, and business plans, ensuring alignment with hotel objectives and ownership expectations.
- Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
