ABOUT THE ROLE
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee all financial operations of the hotel, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
Prepare monthly financial statements, forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses in line with corporate and ownership requirements.
Manage cash flow, accounts payable and receivable, payroll coordination, and treasury controls.
Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
Implement and monitor internal controls, audit processes, and financial policies to safeguard assets.
Work closely with department heads to support cost control, budgeting, and operational efficiency.
Oversee procurement processes, supplier contracts, and invoice approvals.
Support pre-opening or seasonal ramp-up activities including system setup and financial procedures.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to hotel management to support decision making.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5 years of finance experience in hospitality, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of hotel accounting, financial reporting, and cost control.
Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Experience in pre-opening phases or project setup is a significant advantage.
High proficiency in financial systems (PMS, POS, accounting tools) and advanced Excel.
Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
