Electrical Engineer
Location: Ras Al Khaimah, UAE
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our industrial operations team in Ras Al Khaimah.
This is a hands-on role supporting electrical construction, maintenance, automation and project activities across a large-scale industrial environment. The successful candidate will combine strong electrical engineering knowledge with practical troubleshooting, project execution and team supervision skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare electrical BOQs, cable schedules, sizing calculations and technical specifications
- Review and modify single-line diagrams, control schematics and panel drawings
- Plan and supervise electrical manpower and subcontractors
- Troubleshoot HV/LV distribution systems, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, ACBs, VFDs, motors and control panels
- Support installation, testing, commissioning and shutdown activities
- Diagnose faults within PLC, HMI, Remote I/O and industrial communication systems
- Upload, back up, restore and troubleshoot PLC and HMI programmes
- Supervise instrumentation installation, calibration, cable termination and loop checking
- Coordinate with operations, maintenance, procurement and project teams
- Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum five years’ experience within industrial plants, manufacturing, quarrying, mining, cement or infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of electrical power distribution, motor control and industrial automation
- Hands-on experience with Siemens and Rockwell PLC and HMI systems
- Knowledge of SCADA, VFDs, instrumentation and industrial communication networks
- Ability to interpret and modify electrical and control wiring drawings
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and electrical design calculations
- Strong troubleshooting, planning, leadership and communication skills
- UAE driving licence preferred
