ERP Manager - Finance

To lead the ERP function for the Finance module, ensuring system integrity, efficiency, and alignment with Badael’s financial governance framework. The role is responsible for process automation, data accuracy, and continuous improvement of ERP functionalities, enabling timely and reliable financial and operational processes across the company.

Strategy

• Contribute to the Product and Applications Department’s digital transformation strategy by ensuring ERP systems support financial accuracy and process efficiency.
• Formulate and monitor the effective implementation of the section strategy and relevant tactics, in line with the department and division's overall strategy, ensuring that the organization’s vision, mission, and strategy are properly cascaded down to the different elements of the section.

Budget and Financial Monitoring

• Provide inputs and support the preparation, consolidation, and monitoring of the annual budget of the department in coordination with the Department Head and the finance team.

Common Accountabilities

• Supervise operational excellence improvement initiatives and motivate employees to constantly identify areas for improvement on systems, processes and practices taking into account international leading practices, in order to continuously enhance the organizational effectiveness and business performance.
• Drive the development and oversee the implementation of policies, systems, processes, procedures and controls within the section in order to ensure that all activities within the section are conducted in line with any relevant compliance, risk, audit, cybersecurity and regulatory requirements.

People Management

• Provide strategic direction to the direct reporting roles, guide, set priorities and objectives that will be cascaded to the lower levels, while managing their performance, and providing ongoing support and feedback, to ensure the achievement of the short- and long-term business goals.
• Coordinate the activities of the direct reporting roles to ensure that all operational plans are carried out efficiently, in line with the annual organizational targets, policies and procedures.
• Oversee the successful implementation of the talent management related activities for the Section (e.g. PMS, trainings, etc.), providing inputs to the Human Capital and approvals as required (e.g. annual leaves, etc.).

Job-Specific Accountabilities

ERP Governance and Optimization

• Lead the functional management and continuous enhancement of Oracle Finance modules, ensuring efficient and reliable end-to-end Finance processes across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Tax and other implemented Finance modules.
• Develop and maintain governance frameworks for the Finance ERP modules, ensuring compliance with Finance policies, internal controls, and segregation of duties.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to design and implement system updates, new functionalities, and workflow improvements.

System Integrity and Data Management

• Ensure ERP capabilities support financial reconciliation processes and interface integrity.
• Oversee Finance system integrations and support Finance data migration activities during projects and major system changes, ensuring data integrity and continuity.
• Define data validation protocols and control points to maintain reliability and audit readiness.

Process Enhancement and Automation

• Identify and implement automation opportunities within Finance processes to increase efficiency and reduce manual work.
• Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, and HC stakeholders to prioritize and deliver Finance-related initiatives aligned with the enterprise ERP roadmap.

Business Partnering and Support

• Act as the primary liaison between business users and the Technology for Finance module.
• Provide expert guidance and training to end-users to maximize system utilization and data accuracy.
• Support Finance departments in leveraging ERP analytics for decision-making and reporting.

Reporting and Controls

• Define Finance reporting requirements and collaborate with Analytics teams to deliver dashboards and management reports.
• Monitor key system KPIs such as process cycle time, error rates, and user adoption.
• Ensure ERP configurations align with internal controls, audit standards, and Badael’s approval matrix.

Audit and Compliance Support

• Support internal and external audits by providing system documentation, access reports, and transaction traceability.
• Ensure ERP system controls comply with financial governance, policies, and cybersecurity standards.
