Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products as per approved quality standards and specifications.
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality requirements and standard operating procedures.
- Perform routine quality checks and maintain inspection records and reports.
- Identify quality issues, non-conformities, and defects, and report them to the concerned departments for corrective action.
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of quality testing instruments and equipment.
- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, and Warehouse departments to resolve quality-related issues.
- Monitor product parameters, specifications, and customer requirements to ensure compliance.
- Maintain all quality documentation, reports, certificates, and records accurately.
- Assist in implementing quality improvement initiatives and corrective/preventive action plans.
- Participate in internal audits, customer audits, and quality management system activities.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards, food safety standards (if applicable), and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports for management review.
- Support training activities related to quality procedures and standards.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Quality Management, Chemistry, Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-12 years of experience in Quality Control within the flexible packaging or manufacturing industry.
- Good knowledge of quality control procedures, testing methods, and quality management systems.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and quality documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
